3-City Tour: Granada, Ronda, Sevilla
Of course we did not a 3-city tour in a row on our world travel with baby! On our way to Ronda we just stopped by in Granada. Spent 3 days in Ronda and on the way to Portugal we stopped for 2.5 hours in Sevilla.
Granada
It’s a beautiful white village in the Spanish inland and has one of Europe’s most visited sights: the Alhambra. It was a former Arabic palace and looks like a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unfortunately, we got seduced by gorgeous pictures which are taken when no tourists are around. (I am not sure when this is supposed to happen). When we arrived there we met millions of other tourists. We took our baby in a carrier and got a way around the huge line for the entrance. It really is a special place but I would not recommend to visit it with a baby. It’s quite hot and crowded everywhere. Nevertheless, we got some nice shots, but don’t get seduced by them 😉
Ronda
Spending 3 days in Ronda is a perfect match. It is a small town and looks really really cute. This is probably the reason why you mainly find Asian tourists here – it’s a “typical” European town. The special sight is a bridge that connects both parts of the town over a breathtaking canyon with 3 waterfalls. It simply is incredible and hardly anyone is aware of this magic place. Unfortunately, you also have “typical” European streets: which means they’re paved with cobblestones. Therefore, you will only be able to use the carrier.
Furthermore, I have a thing for waterfalls. And there are 3 (!) in Ronda. So I left my baby with daddy and climbed all the way through the “jungle”. On the way a guy offered me to guide the way which was fine. When we arrived there I mentioned that I am traveling with my husband and my baby and off he went. It was never so easy to get rid of annoying guys 😉
Must-eat: we got a recommendation by our host. There is a restaurant called Tragatapas(Calle Nueva 4). The Chef used to work in a Michelin Star restaurant. The prices are average, event a bit cheap but the food is one of the best I ever had.
We had a regular Airbnb apartment just next to the bridge for a fair price (. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures but you can check it here. The owner has several apartments in this town. When he showed us around he literally knew every person on the street except the tourists!

Sevilla
Although we only had 2.5 hours in Sevilla, we got at least an impression of what it’s like. There are nice little streets, but also great museums and monuments. It definitely is a city with to see but not in summer. It is too hot for you and your baby. However, you can get an impression of what it’s like and decide by yourself:
